Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Exhibit, the Figma plugin, website and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by:

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. The Service

Exhibit is a plugin for Figma that uses artificial intelligence to write, lay out and illustrate portfolio case studies from material you provide (for example a text brief, a Figma frame or a PDF). Using the plugin requires your own Figma account. Exhibit is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Figma, Inc.

We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and refund prepaid subscription fees for the unused period.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a plan or credits.
• Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not share or resell accounts or credits.

3. Credits

• Actions in Exhibit that use AI cost credits. The price of each action is shown in the plugin before you start it.
• Free accounts receive a one-time credit allowance. Paid plans add credits at the start of each billing period. Credit packs add credits once.
• Credits stay in your account while it is open. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable except as described in the Refund Policy.
• If an action fails on our side, the credits charged for it are returned automatically. Closing the plugin while an action runs does not count as a failure.
• We may change credit prices for future actions. The current price is always shown before you use an action.

4. Plans, payment and renewal

• Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles payment, invoicing and sales taxes. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to your purchase.
• Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the plugin (Manage subscription) or by contacting us. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and no further charges are made.
• We will tell you in advance about any price change for your subscription. The change applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• If a payment fails, your plan may be moved to Free until payment succeeds. Credits already in your account remain.

5. Your content

"Input" is anything you give the Service (text, Figma content, files, images). "Output" is what the Service creates for you (text, layouts, images).

• You keep all rights to your Input. You give us a limited licence to host, copy and process your Input only as needed to provide the Service to you.
• As between you and us, you own the Output and may use it for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. Similar Output may be generated for other users, and AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every country.
• You confirm you have the right to use your Input, including permission from clients or employers for confidential projects, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
• We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models.

6. AI output

AI can make mistakes. Exhibit is designed to use only the facts you provide, but you are responsible for reviewing all Output before you publish or share it, including numbers, names, claims and images. Generated photos show fictional people and scenes and should not be presented as documentation of real events.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• create misleading portfolios, for example presenting other people's work as your own;
• generate sexual, hateful, violent or otherwise harmful content, or images of real people without their consent;
• attack, overload, reverse engineer or bypass limits of the Service, or access it with automated tools other than the plugin;
• resell or provide the Service to others without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Figma, AI model providers, hosting and payment services. Their availability is outside our full control, and their own terms apply to your use of their products.

9. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service available and working well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that Output will meet your specific needs. Nothing in these Terms limits the legal rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@exhibit.show. Unused credits are lost when an account is deleted. We may end or suspend your access for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the plugin at least 14 days in advance. If you continue using the Service after the change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

13. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts there. Please contact us first so we can try to solve the issue. Consumers in Romania can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC).
